For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate:
(i) should be a citizen of India.
(ii) should have passed minimum three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of Candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or Central Government or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
or
(iii) should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks ( at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject.
or
(iv) should have passed three years D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector; and
(v) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
The selection process for the programmes is based on aggregate scores (Provisional Admissions are offered based on 5th semester scores, in case results of final semester are awaited) Preference will be given to candidates completed diploma from allied branches.
Minimum 50% aggregate score in B.Sc. in Statistics (at least 45% in case of of Reserved Category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only)
OR
Minimum 50% aggregate score in B.Sc. (Mathematics/ Data Science/ Machine Learning/ Computer Science/ Actuarial Science) / BE/ BTech with Statistics as one of the regular subjects in their undergraduate programme (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved Class Categories belonging to Maharashtra State only)
OR
Minimum 50% aggregate score In M. Sc.in Mathematics /MA Mathematics
OR
Minimum 50% aggregate score in BA with Statistics as one of the subject / BA Statistics
The selection procedure is based on marks obtained in Remote Proctored Online DES PU PCET-ASDS 2026 Exam
Any graduate having (Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Data Science as one of the subjects at graduation) with 50% marks for General and 45% marks for Reserved Class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only.
The selection procedure is based on marks obtained in Remote Proctored Online DES PU PCET-Data Science 2026 exam.
Minimum 50% aggregate score in B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCS/ B.Sc. (IT)/ B.Sc. degree with Computer Science as one of the core subjects (at least 45% marks, in case of Reserved Category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only)
OR
Minimum 50% aggregate score in Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Electronic Telecommunication
OR
Minimum 50% aggregate score in B.Voc. in Software Development/ Information Technology
